Spencer Taylor, is the founder and principal broker of Taylor Real Estate & Management, LLC. Spencer is involved actively in all facets of the business including conducting regular site visits, making maintenance decisions, staffing each site, reviewing each invoice and check issued, reviewing financial reports, designing better systems, and monitoring performance. He takes a personal interest in seeing that we fulfill our mission statement and core values. Spencer has a Doctor of Jurisprudence (i.e. a law degree) from Willamette University, a Masters in Business Administration from Oregon State University, and a Bachelors of Arts in social sciences (intercultural emphasis) from Bethany College. Spencer is very involved in the community, having served as president of the Salem Rotary Club and the United Way of the Mid-Willamette Valley, and as one of the initial members of the No Meth Not In My Neighborhood Taskforce. He also coached boy’s basketball for 15 years from the varsity level to youth levels. Spencer lives in Turner with his wife, Denise, and their six children. They have an active home life, and are parishioners at St. Joseph’s Church in Salem.
Teresa Krause, Property Manager and Senior Bookkeeper, studied accounting at Brigham Young University, formerly worked for a CPA firm specializing in auditing HUD properties, and is an organized positive individual. Teresa has worked with our company almost from the inception, September 1, 1999 to be exact. Teresa maintains financial statements, bank reconciliations, and financial reports and assures they are well prepared for audits and owner needs. She understands the unique needs of owners and stakeholders in real estate investments. Teresa lives in South Salem with her husband, Courtney, and has three daughters and is very involved in attending all Oregon State athletic events. One of her daughters has perhaps the world’s largest business card collection. You can send one to us and we’ll get it to her!
Dan Kluver, Salem Area Manager and Maintenance Specialist, has over 25 years experience in project management and civil construction. He is a master woodworker with outstanding knowledge of construction, plumbing, and electrical, techniques and materials. Active member of his community Dan is the Chair of the Aumsville Planning Commission and has been the coordinator of a weekly meal site for in need families at South Salem Friend’s Church for over 5 years with only 2 days missed. His dedication, “can do attitude,” and outgoing personality has makes him a benefit to everyone he comes in contact with.
Kirstin Mueller, is our Accounts Payable Clerk and Occupancy Specialist, but she wears many hats within the office, from accounts receivable to, processing prospective tenants’ application, to office management. Kirstin has been working at Taylor Real Estates for since 2010. With a Bachelors of Arts in English Literature from Western Oregon and anthropology minor she is an avid reader. If you come in the office during lunch you will usually find her nose buried in her lasted book. Let her know if you have any literary recommendations.
On-Site Managers. We have a great team of on-site managers and maintenance staff. The have varied backgrounds and are motivated to do a great job. Several of our site and maintenance employees have worked with us for numerous years.
